Case Study Report Writing Assignment:

Task: There are six case studies to choose from, relevant to the following topics: 1. Working with older adults and health sector 2. Disability 3. Child protection and juvenile justice and youth work 4. Working with difference and diversity 5. Rural and remote, income security and environmental and disaster work 6. Mental health and substance abuse Aim: The purpose of this task is to develop and apply knowledge of human service processes by analysing a case study and writing a report in 1500 words. Task: Students will be required to choose ONE of the SIX specified case studies and prepare a report (with headings according to a specified report template) addressing the following aspects of the case study: 1. human rights and 2. ethical dimensions evident in the case; 3. theoretical approaches that inform assessment and interventions, and; 4. possible interventions and organisations/agencies that could serve as points of referral/assistance.
