Topic: How to prepare for the research critique assignment

Use the critiquing criteria in the web modules to help you describe and critically analyze five aspects of the paper you have selected. The five aspects are: (i) The research problem/s, research question/s, hypotheses (only applicable in quant) and variables (IV, DV, confounding – quant) or phenomena of interest (qual) (ii) The literature reviewed (including the use of primary and secondary sources) (iii) The research design (iv) The sampling method, sample size, and inclusion/exclusion criteria (v) The methods of data collection The relevant critiquing criteria have been copied from the web modules at the end of this document (See Appendix 1)
