Project 

The individual report is designed to introduce you to how to research a topic related to building materials.

• Structural and other properties of the material 

• Describe the condition of the material (if in an older building)

• Reference all sources of information. 

Format 

• The length of the report is 1200 words, excluding any appendices and referencing/bibliography in the number of words. 

• Format should be A4 1.5-line space 12pt Times New Roman font. 

• Identify sources of all information used in your report. A consistent style is required in the report. Do not pad the report with irrelevant detail or long tables and dot points. This will lead to less marks. 

• Use relevant images and acknowledge the source, label them with a number reference. 

• Do not pad the material out with copied tables and especially do not let it look like a marketing brochure.
