Highlights
This task is designed to develop your ability to critically analyze and form judgments regarding ethical issues. Forming judgments and making informed ethical business decisions is increasingly significant as the business environment is global, complex, and uncertain. This is especially relevant in addressing the ethical, social and ecological issues. The issues we discuss in the weekly lectures and tutorials are multidimensional, complex, and sometimes controversial. Taking a deliberate ‘point of view’ approach is one way to consider and potentially reconcile alternate perspectives on an issue. The aim here is not so much to reach a definitive ‘answer’, but to be able to articulate how and why you arrived at a better-informed perspective on the issue. The opportunity is to build and practice this way of thinking.
