The mid-semester assessment is a presentation about a simulation example of the power flow simulation software (NEPLAN). The group, after familiarising themselves with the work of the NEPLAN software, will select an example and run a simulation analysis. The presentation should summarise the students understanding of the simulation: how to run it and how to interpret the results. The presentation id using PPt software and should be limited 15 minutes with possible 5 minutes questions time. Approximate slide counts for this assignment will be dependent on the nature of the work carried out, but the format of the presentation should contain the following sections: 

• Cover: 1 page (student details, unit details, title) 

• Introduction: containing a brief background, the outline of the report, Aim and Objectives 

• A detailed description of what the circuit is supposed to simulate and what is the role of every item 

• What kind of results are produced by this simulation, display different results and what is their impact? 

• Conclusions or Summary, which contains the overall conclusion from the report and the likely on Power quality.
