 This report is worth 45% of the total marks for the course and will be marked out of 100. The total maximum length of the report is 3000 words (excluding references). The marks and due dates for component tasks are as follows:

Section 1: Critical literature review.(1500 of the 3000 words) , final of Section 1 is worth 50/100 marks. A draft sanity table (summarising key points from published literature) is due in week 4 (03/08/2020) for formative assessment. A draft of your literature review (worth 10/100 marks) is due on Friday week 8, 11th September, 2020. You will be assessed on the following criteria: • Quality and appropriateness of literature • Accuracy of the exposition of literature within the risk assessment framework •

Section 2: Situation report. (10/100 marks); comprised predominantly of tables and/or graphs. This section requires you to source secondary data available to capture the extent of the issue in a defined community and has two parts: Part A - You need to source and present data to indicate the likely levels of exposure to the hazard you have chosen by members of your nominated community. Part B - You need to source and present any data available about health effects likely to be associated with exposure to your hazard in your defined community. Trends in these data (if available) should be presented.

Section 3: Stakeholder Analysis. (10/100 marks), predominantly in the form of a table or annotated diagram) In this section you are required to identify the key stakeholder groups (both government and non-government) that have some role in managing your environmental health risk issue in the context of your defined community. For each stakeholder group, you will need to delineate their respective role and illustrate this by providing an example of a particular agency/committee etc and indicate how their terms of reference cover this role.

Section 4: Summary and future research directions:(10/100 marks). This section serves as a summary/conclusion to your report and should outline information gaps and future research challenges that would address such gaps and improve the risk management of your health risk issue.
