This assignment requires you to complete the following work:

• You are required to create a journal that documents your Continuing Professional Development journey.
• The journal will take the form of a CPD log of activity (Task 1) and a reflection report (Task 2).  A template of this journal can be found in the assessment section on the Aula page which you should complete and submit for this assessments.
• The minimum number of CPD points that MUST be gained as part of the assessment requirements is 20 points.  You collect these points as you complete approved CPD activities.  Each hour of engagement with the CPD activity amounts to 1 CPD point.  The maximum number of CPD points for any single activity is 10 CPD points.
• The CPD activities that apply for this module are wide-ranging and will allow you to develop a range of professional skills through successful engagement in a variety of approved activities, events and work experience opportunities.  CPD Activities may fall into one or more of the four CPD activity categories:

1.     Academic Skills
2.     Personal Awareness and Development
3.     Employability
4.     Extra-curricular

Criteria for Assessment

The criteria by which the work will be assessed is as follows: 
• Successful engagement with approved internal and/or external CPD activities to develop a range of professional skills. 
• Ability to take plan and take ownership of their own personal development. 
• Ability to effectively manage their time. 
• Ability to keep clear record of CPD activities that have been undertaken, using the CPD log. • Ability to reflect on personal development. 
• Ability to evaluate and reflect on approved CPD activity to demonstrate what has been learned. 
• Ability to identify areas of further development. 
• A minimum of 20 CPD points collected by the submission deadline.
