1. Liam Starr has seen me in an interview last week. His mother died last month, and he is the executor of the will. His mother was a wealthy woman. His parents were divorced about three years after they were married. This was about one year after Liam was born.
Liam showed me a letter he received, from Coast Lawyers. This letter explains to him that Coast Lawyers client, Mary McDee, believes she is the sister of Liam. She states that she and Liam have the same biological mother and thus is entitled to some part of the estate. She believes she was born before Liam’s parents met and was raised by her father, who died a year ago. The lawyers want to prove she is the daughter of Liam’s mother and are requesting Liam to take a paternity test. The mother was cremated so no DNA test is possible from her remains. Please do some research into this and advise me on whether they can force Liam to take a paternity test.

2. Benito Rodolfo died last week. He is survived by his wife and seven children. One of those children, Ray, is the executor of the will. Ray has already had a meeting with me and has told me that he cannot find the will. His father always told him it was in his filing cabinet but all he can find is a photocopy of what he believes to be the will. Attached to the photocopy is a A4 piece of paper on which Benito has written two extra dispositions to his grandchildren. Unfortunately, while the will seems to have been properly executed (as can be seen from the photocopy) the attached piece of paper does not. I need you to do some brief research regarding whether the court will accept the photocopy.
