Assignment Task:
Produce and orally justify (10 minutes) a final project of 7,000 words (+ or -10%) that identifies the title of investigation, introduction/background, research aim and objectives, literature review, methodology/research design, findings and analysis, and critical reflection. Feedback will be provided on the research proposal (15% of final unit mark) which will eventually form the basis of the first few sections of the final project. Assignment Details and Instructions:
Produce and orally justify* (10 minutes) a final project of 7,000 words** (+ or -10%) that identifies the title of investigation, introduction/background, research aim and objectives, literature review, methodology/research design, findings and analysis, and critical reflection. The project must contain a short reflection on how the project was managed. Feedback will be provided on the research proposal (15% of final unit mark) which will eventually form the basis of the first few sections of the final project. Students are allocated a supervisor who supports the students with formative feedback throughout the unit. *The oral justification comprises of a 10 minute pre-arranged meeting with your supervisor where you present the main findings of your project and critically reflect upon the learning undertaken in terms of implications for change management, personal and employability skills. This oral justification will take place on day three of your three day writing retreat at the university.
