Submit the results as a plot and numerical data. Is the relationship linear? (explain your answer using words and equations)

The mean value shows the average of all the numbers in the data set we used to calculate Sole thickness with respect to the number of steps taken.
The standard deviation here shows that 12% of data is dispersed around the mean value which is 9.85, if the standard deviation tends to be zero that means all values in the set are the same.
