According to this theory, there are two types of leaders: task-oriented and people-oriented. If a team has problems, a task-oriented leader will look at the process to see if anything needs to be changed. A people-oriented leader will look at the people and approach them directly and ask about the problem.

In Authentic leadership, leaders are genuine, self-aware, and honest. They have clear goals and self-discipline, which help them move forward, no matter what comes their way. They are sensitive too and willing to help others in their needs
