ASSIGNMENT INFORMATION 
This research portfolio requires you to conduct a thorough macro and microanalysis of the market space in  which your enterprise will operate.  
You need to consult broad, quality secondary data sources for commercial opportunity. It is not imperative  that you outline your enterprise idea for this assignment – this will come later. What we are looking at  here is an exploratory research task designed to provoke ideas and assess feasibility of certain  markets/industries. Don’t have a fixed endpoint just yet.  
This assignment is a great opportunity to put your research ability into practice. Try to be flexible with your  scope here initially and let your research (and interests!) guide your portfolio – this is meant to be an early  stage of your enterprise journey!  

PROCESS 
This report needs to be structured, systematic, and must use the theories, models, and research methods you  have learned in the pre-requisite subjects. Your portfolio may be structured however you think best to present  your research. However, within the portfolio you should:  
1) Conduct a thorough macro or environmental analysis. This includes a focus on external factors  impacting your key industry. This could include using the following tools: 
a. PESTLE Analysis 
b. Porter’s 5 Forces Analysis. 
2) Conduct a thorough microanalysis. This includes a focus on competitor and consumer factors  impacting your key market. This could include using the following tools: 
a. Consumer Analysis and Summary 
b. Competitor Analysis and Summary. 
3) Summarise at least three “core” challenges and opportunities that your enterprise will likely face  that has emerged through your research to conclude your portfolio.  
4) A concise conclusion of where your enterprise concept is situated after this market analysis.  Suggested Structure:
