Each student is required to come to class with an IDEA, with which they would like to build a digital strategy / transformation. Each student will be required to submit their idea on paper during the morning of Day 1 before lectures begin. This must be in bullet format and not more than 1- page. The idea must consist of: 1) Problem definition 2) Key challenges this poses to the customer 3) Possible solutions to be investigated 
During the 3-day electives, the student will be required to use class learnings to build on their IDEA. The result will be for the student to submit a PowerPoint, using the notes section to elaborate on the points on the slide. A maximum of 15 slides, excluding supporting information (appendices) and references lists. 
This presentation must be articulated in such a way, that it is presented to a venture capital company, such that, you will be requesting funding of "X ZAR" over a period of time to build a business around your idea.
