Assessment Description

In this assessment, students are expected to participate in a test every week starting from week 3. The purpose of the test is to evaluate the students’ understanding of the topic discussed in the class. This will also ensure students’ concentration in the class. The student will be provided one question and needs to prepare the answer in class. The questions can be multiple choice questions or short-answer question in nature. The duration of the test is 20 minutes. It will be held during the class time. It will be an open book test. Students need to submit the answers through the Turnitin link provided in the Moodle.

Special consideration

• Students whose ability to submit or attend an assessment item is affected by sickness, misadventure or other circumstances beyond their control, may be eligible for special consideration. No consideration is given when the condition or event is unrelated to the student's performance in a component of the assessment, or when it is considered not to be serious.  
• Students applying for special consideration must submit the form within 3 days of the due date of the assessment item or exam.
