Highlights
Task:
The aim of this assessment task is to write a business report that investigates and analyses the issues relating to technostress by reading and analysing relevant scholarly articles, using contemporary examples, and providing a personal reflection. Although information systems offer benefits to individuals, societies, and organisations, there is a ‘dark side’, that we need to be aware of so we can deal with potential health issues. One of the health issues associated with the ‘dark side’ is technostress, defined as ‘any negative impact on attitudes, thoughts, behaviours, or body physiology that is induced either directly or indirectly by technology.’
