• Role and Responsibilities
• The Bookkeeper will work closely with the Senior Bookkeeper to prepare and maintain client accounting records.
• Tasks will include, but are not limited to:
• Reconciling transactions and bank statements
• Accounts payable and receivable
• Producing balance sheets and profit and loss statements
• GST reconciliation
• Supporting clients and troubleshooting
• Processing payroll
• PAYG summaries / STP declarations
• Preparing BAS and IAS’s (under supervision)
• General administrative duties as requiredQualifications and Education Requirements
• Minimum Certificate IV in Accounting and Bookkeeping (or actively working towards completion of).
• Preferred Skills
• Knowledge of both Xero & MYOB accounting software
• Payroll and bookkeeping experience (at least one year)
• Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
• An eye for detail and exceptional communication skills
