Highlights
The essay will be evaluated on the basis of clarity, insight and critical evaluation of theoretical concepts introduced in the subject
Requirements
In this subject, we have been introduced to the Aboriginal concept of ‘country’.
In weeks 2 and 3, we familiarised ourselves with the management accounting tool of the Balanced Scorecard. In week 6, we have evaluated conventional management accounting tools through a Social and Environmental Accounting (SEA) lens. Drawing on these concepts, in week 8 we have conceptualised Coca Cola Amatil’s Balanced Scorecard by taking a closer look at the 2019 annual/sustainability (Integrated) report. We have further scrutinised this report and Balanced Scorecard by drawing on various media, activist and academic articles/outlets (listed below under reading resources).
(I HAVE ATTATCHED SEPERATELY ALL THE REQUIRED LECTURE NOTES AND OTHER REPORTS)
As part of this task, you are required to write an essay evaluating Coca Cola Amatil’s Balanced Scorecard through the Aboriginal concept of ‘Country’. In doing so, you are required to:

• Critically evaluate and provide reflections on whether or not and how Coca Cola Amatil addresses and adheres to the concept of Country.
• In your own opinion, provide reflections on what further actions Coca Cola could take to demonstrate respect to Country.
You are encouraged to make use of the subject readings from weeks 6 and 8, as well as your own independent research and reading. The discussion and reflections in the essay must be your opinion.
