Introduction
This should give the context for your work. It should start with the broad topic, showing why it is important, discuss current state of knowledge based on the literature (with citations) then identify gaps in knowledge in relation to what you are going to be researching, so you have set the scene for your aim. Make sure there is structure and flow.
Approximately one side of A4, normal spacing, normal font size, more or less. Clear and concisely written.
Think of this as you telling an (exciting) story to set the scene for your work.

Aims and Objectives
Aim should be an overall general statement – relates to the introduction.
Objectives are the things you need to achieve to meet you aim. If you prefer, you can have these as research questions. They should be specific and achievable.I would normally expect one aim and 4 or so objectives.

Proposed method
Write what you will do. Include things like experimental design, sampling, what you will measure, repeats, how you will measure it, how often you will measure, what you will measure with? If standard methodologies are used, refer to them and cite them. What statistics you will do, what will the response variables and factors be, what software? If qualitative, how will you analyse your data?
