3. Discuss how an Australian film of your choice explores identity through a particular focus on the characters presented in the film. How do these different people perform national identity? How is gender represented in this performance of national identity ?

4. Has the use of landscape in Australian film  changed over time ? Explore using two Australian films.

5. Men and women represent Australia very differently in Australian film. Do you agree? Discuss using at least 2 films not used in class lectures.
