During the second week of my placement in acute ward my supervising RN asked me to give medication to the patient. First, I was to identify my patient by checking id band, checking allergies, and checking doctors prescription, route, time, drug, dose and need consent from patient prior to medication administration. 
FEELING 
I was under the supervision of my buddy nurse, therefore feeling very pressure and self-conscious. The pressure around me encouraged me to administer medication as prescribed without making error. I also provide education to the patient about drugs so to make sure that patient is satisfied. I feel more confident after giving medication to the patient with propers checks and rights. 
EVALUATION 
Administering medication to the patient was very interesting and educative to me. I was able to remember what we had taught in the class and have courage to perform it. I adhered to all stages of oral medication, before and after dispensing, cross-checking the patient detail and prescribed medication. This made me remain accurate since I was under supervision.
