Tracey Demeris, Lynne Lacey, Mary Sawyer and Carol Dawson currently live at Manna Gum Grove, a house that is part of a shared supported accommodation service operated by Action for Living under a funding and services agreement with the Government.

Tracey, Lynne, Mary and Carol are adults, and all have cerebral palsy with associated physical disabilities. They all also have intellectual disabilities and epilepsy. Tracey and Lynne communicate quite effectively with assisted communication devices, Carol, who reportedly has autistic tendencies, can communicate her needs to her family and people who know her well. Those who know Mary well understand her basic needs and wishes from her general demeanour and her gestures. Three (3) of the residents use wheelchairs at all times, and the other needs assistance to move about, particularly outside. All need full physical assistance in all of the activities of daily life. All enjoy close relationships with their families.

Tracey has lived at the house since it opened as a family group home for children in 1981. Carol moved in later while it was still a family group home, Lynne shortly after it became a shared supported accommodation house, in 1997, and Mary moved in in 2008 - four years ago.
