AREE is a different type of course to most others; you will design a a Renewable Energy System. The project  should be on a topic entirely of your own choice. The course is assessed via coursework and does not have  an examination. You will be assessed in three ways:  

(i) A Project Portfolio submitted in three parts (each worth 5% of your mark), that will be submitted  at regular intervals through the semester. Each portfolio part should be no more than 3 pages,  will concisely address the issues detailed below and will be submitted through Vision according  to the following schedule:

(ii) A project presentation towards the end of the semester (worth 25% of your final mark). The  presentation will be live either online or face-to-face:

A timetable with exact details of the time for your presentation will be given later in the semester.  

(iii) By submission of a final report (worth 60% of your final mark). This is a detailed report about the  Renewable Energy System you have designed.
