This Literature review assessmen t asks you to write an integrated critical evaluation of research on a topic that has previously been studied.

You must complete a small-scale literature review on this topic within Behavioural Neuroscience: How have current Bio-psychological studies informed our understanding of the neural mechanisms of sleep?

You should draw on biopsychological research to answer this question. Biopsychological research is that which combines psychological with biological methods or measures – so here, the biological methods could be, for example, brain imaging (such as functional Magnetic Resonance Imaging), recording (such as Electroencephalography), or stimulation (such as Transcranial direct-current stimulation).
