You will be required to re-design the wing structure which will be constructed from aluminium. This is to be done using the sheet metal design workbench.
This is an Individual Assignment
Requirements: AERO2252
Students must scale all CAD drawings, parts and assemblies to the scale factor assigned to them (refer to file named, ScaleFactor_Assignment-2.xls) and model the part and assembly in CATIA V6 workbench.
1. Sheet Metal Design AERO2252
Use the sheet metal workbench along with the T-240 drawings attached to create the replacement metal parts of the wing structure. You must scale all the dimensions (rounded to 3 decimal) before starting the CAD design. Name the modelled parts as PartName-

- Wing Spar 
- Nose Rib
- Middle Rib 2 
2. Assembly Design 
a) Wing assembly: Generate the new wing structure assembly based on the
assembly drawing attached.
- Students must generate full wing assembly using the combination of the parts theycreated and the parts provided with this assignment (i.e. Rear Wing Channel, Middle
Rib 1 and Rear Rib)
- All components must be fully constrained (i.e. Block 6 DOF).
- Save the assembly file as WSA-YourStudentID.3dxml.
b) Complete assembly (2/8 Marks): Create the new full assembly of the T240 based on the assembly drawing attached (i.e.: CA-A001_Complete_T240_Assembly)
- The wing structure must be added as a sub-assembly.
- The left wing must be created using assembly features tools in assembly design workbench.

- The provided CAD components (i.e.; fuselage, stabilizer, etc.) must be re-dimensioned to your scale factor prior to the assembly.

- All components must be fully constrained
