Your task is to develop and implement a Matlab based software to model a lunar lander reaching the Moon from lunar orbit, landing on the Moon surface and returning to
the lunar orbit.

• You will develop code to optimise the design of the truss on the descent stage of a lunar lander to minimize the fuel burnt while maintaining a safe level of stress
• To do this you will need to develop code to calculate the fuel mass from orbital mechanics, use provided code to calculate stress, and develop an efficient approach to optimising the cross-sectional area of the descent module truss structure.
