Nursing Case Study Assignment:

Task: This assignment requires you to conduct an aged care related case study. Although the case should be real, all identifying data must be removed. Illustration/example: Interview an elderly person with an underlying medical condition/ illness and discuss the pathophysiology, including the contributing factors and link these with the theories of ageing/ sociological perspectives on ageing. Analyse the relevant literature and discuss the impact of the disease/ illness on the health of the person. Discuss a Model of care and recommend appropriate strategies and resources that will enable this person to maintain quality of life. Briefly discuss the legal and ethical issues that will need to be considered when caring for this person.
