Highlights
The aim of this assignment task is to deliver a tutorial that demonstrates essential study skills, via a recorded presentation using Zoom. This presentation is to be no more than 20 minutes in length and should address each element detailed within this task sheet.
To PASS this assessment task, you MUST achieve a grade of 50% or higher.
Despite the large student cohort in this unit, we are committed to ensuring that we maintain best practices. As such, your assessment task (with detailed feedback) and grade will be made available within three (3) weeks of your submission.
Background
This unit is designed to equip you with a variety of study skills, that will be of great benefit to you throughout your study, and even beyond.
As such, this assessment task is designed to ensure that you have developed an understanding of three of these essential study skills AND they say that ‘the best way to learn is to teach’. So, this assessment task requires you to deliver your very own “Essential Study Skills Tutorial”, where you will talk your audience through a ‘live presentation’ where you demonstrate your knowledge, understanding and ability to perform the following study skills:
Put simply, you record yourself performing a variety of tasks. Imagine you are delivering a tutorial, and you are the teacher. This presentation is NOT simply talking through a series of screenshots of what you prepared earlier – your recording should show you performing each of the tasks from start to finish.
