Objective

This coursework aims to provide students an opportunity to explore business software and enhance their  understanding on the software features of word processing, spreadsheet editing and digital presentation  editor. Various online collaboration tools that leverage on the ubiquity and scalability of cloud  computing are also utilized to facilitate team work among all assignment group members when  developing a solution in the process of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

Question

1. All assignment groups are required create a fictitious company. Name the company. Design a colored company logo by using MS PowerPoint. Discuss with your tutor on the type of products and/or services your company is selling. Selling the same products and/or services among several  assignment groups are NOT allowed.

2. You are given the following scenario:

You are currently operating a small business with approximately 20 employees. Every time,  when preparing for products and/or services delivery, your order fulfillment department will  issue both Delivery/Service Order and Invoice and pass to the deliverymen. Both documents  are prepared in hard copy. At the customer’s end, the person in charge is required to chop and  sign to acknowledge receipt.

Both Delivery/Service Order and Invoice documents are pre-printed forms, supplied to you by  a printing company. All details within both documents are hand-written.

The preparation of both documents is rather manual and present various difficulties or  challenges.”

3. Based on the above scenario, a project team is formed, consisting of 4 to 5 members. Your team embarks on various phases of system development, from identifying the existing shortcomings in the current workflow to developing a cost-effective solution to address the situation.
