2A- Video Presentation In this assignment, each student will create four to six minutes of YouTube video of futures scenario for Tourism/Hospitality in 2030 based on the trends identified and on your understanding of of Lectures, readings and tutorials from week-1 to 6. Students should also use research material from EBSCO Online Resources, Digital Magazines (Flipster), Gale (Hospitality, Tourism & Leisure).
Please refer to the following information while creating the video presentation:
The student should review CSIRO Report as a part of Strategic Intelligence Scanning  and need to analyse Tourism and Hospitality Industry “Near-Future Context”.
Once you have analysed and Tourism and Hospitality Industry “Near-Future Context” you need to   consider Trends, Issues, Themes, Deep” Drivers of Change (System Structure / Dynamics) to forecast future scenarios for Tourism/Hospitality Industry or Sub- Industries/Departments/Areas in 2030 based on the trends identified and on your understanding of Lectures, readings and tutorials from week-1 to 7.
Based on forecasted future scenarios, you are required to develop a four to six minute YouTube video presentation. This presentation can include student talking to the camera, animations, PowerPoint, Keynote or Prezi content, pictures, narration, multimedia or a mix of all of these. The main objective is to communicate and present your chosen industry future scenarios in an engaging, persuasive and entertaining way.
Your scenario must be supported by research and evidence but you are encouraged to make your scenario as creative as possible without compromising the accuracy of the content.
The student can record your video using a range of technologies, including video cameras, smartphones, webcams, flip cams or screen capture software. There are a range of online tools and iPhone/Android apps for creating very interesting and professional presentations.

Criteria used to grade this task: 
1. Analyse the global environment to predict alternative futures based on different combinations of assumptions, facts and trends 
2. Appreciate and explain future opportunities afforded by advances in technology, particularly as they relate to global and continental transportation 
3. Develop advanced persuasive arguments which stimulate group discussion on pressing issues 
4. Conduct effective research to validate predicted directions of the tourism/hospitality industry
2B- Forum Discussion The student will develop a topic for online discussion based on the video presentation and post it to forum that generates opportunities for interaction. This will account to maximum of 5 marks. This allows the student to exchange ideas with their peers and develop their argument for the assignment.

a)    Upload their presentation or provide a link into the Forum
b)    Write a summary of approximately for their presentation that will allow other students to quickly capture  the highlights of their presentation
