Part One

You will need to find and thoroughly read two peer-reviewed empirical research articles on the same business-related issue. One article should use a qualitative data collection method (or several qualitative methods) and one should use quantitative. Then, produce an extended abstract that would contain:

• Critical evaluation of each article's methodology.
• Conclusion, where you explain which of the articles handled methodology better.

Part Two

should be a research proposal for your Capstone project. You are to choose a topic for your Capstone project yourself. It could be related to the topic you chose in part one, but it should not be the same as in part one. The proposal should contain the following:

• Introduction to the topic/research background. Explain why the topic is interesting and what you're hoping to achieve with your research.
• Research question (or aim) and objectives.
• Literature review. Be critical, rather than descriptive.
• Methodology. Specify your plan for the overall research design, data collection (including sampling) and data analysis. Discuss any validity issues for your proposed research and any ethical concerns.
