Overview
This assessment requires the student to prepare an INDIVIDUAL report by compiling the bill of quantities (BoQ), measurement details, and the query sheets for a given Civil Construction project. Upon completion of this assignment, students are expected to be able to:
- Provide a complete bill of quantities (BoQs) for the Civil Works, encompassing Earthworks and Road Pavement, in accordance with the provided project drawings (refer to Attachment 1-3 drawings). For Preambles and General. please refer to the below "ANZSMM Example Schedule" - Groundwork Section to get some ideas.
- Provide measurement details following the format introduced during our tutorials.
Please note:
For Earthworks measurement: If you plan to use the traditional manual method (Simplified Grid Method for earthworks), please use Attachment 1_Drawing Earthwork with Grid and refer to the Week 7 tutorial recording if you missed it.
If you plan to use CostX, please use Attachment 2 Drawing Earthwork without Grid and refer to Week 9 tutorial. You're also welcome to use other software like Bluebeam or Cubit Estimating, but please ensure you provide sufficient measurement details, such as software screenshots.
