However, not all appendices are required to be submitted. In this case, you must refer to this document when forming your answer.

PART B

Your boss mentioned in a meeting that the Performance Solutions you provided in Part A may be required. However, he would like to get some input from design, building or construction professionals first.

For this task, you are required to approach two (2) design, building or construction professionals and propose the Performance Solutions you included in Part A.

You need to select one Performance Solution from Appendix 8 to discuss with two professionals. Complete Appendix 10 – Industry Consultation and submit this for assessment.

These professionals can be:

• real-life colleagues or industry professionals you work with, or have dealt with before
• real-life friends who are industry professionals
• real-life industry professionals who you reach out to, and who are willing to have a discussion with you

These professionals must be able to provide meaningful feedback, advice and discussion on your proposed solution. They must be from, or work with, the design and building and construction industry.

Note: If you cannot find an industry professional to discuss your proposed Performance Solution, then you must research information and data which will either support, or not support, your Performance Solution. The research and data must be from a reputable source. For example, you may find a document from a building authority that discusses some aspects of your Performance Solution. You must provide a copy of, or reference location of, the information sources you cite.
