Assessment Structure
The focus of this assignment is to investigate the CSR activities of an organisation and assess them against relevant academic literature.
The assignment should be considered as an executive report and broken into three distinct sections:
The first task for the group to consider is which company or organisation you want to focus your assignment on, ask yourselves: Is it an airline? Is it a tour company? Is it an Attraction? Is It a hotel chain? Is it a resort or casino? Some preliminary online research is required to identify whether the selected company has published information regarding CSR or ESG activities. After this stage it is important to follow the stages in the sections outlined below:

Section 1 (Academic Research): The first task is to identify three journal articles relating to research undertaken in CSR or ESG as it relates to any particular application within the Tourism, Hospitality or Events sectors.  You need to break the first section into three ensuring you discuss what the research found and the applicability. You need to discuss the type of study undertaken, the research findings and consider the context between the academic literature and your chosen company or organisation within the defined industry sectors of hospitality, tourism or major events.

Section 2 (Case Study): The second section of the report is a detailed discussion of the CSR programs, policy and procedures of the organisation that your group has identified, it is often to break this section into sub sections related to the Social, Economic or Environmental programs.

Section 3: (Integration): The last part of the report seeks to integrate where your team has found links between the academic texts and commercial practice. Therefore drawing comparisons or similarities between the academic research and the organisation's policies, or practice is critical. As this section makes up the conclusion and summary of your findings you may consider adding any suggestions of potential gains or improvements in efficiency and effectiveness of the organisation's CSR/ESG activities in terms of how the theoretical findings from your academic research articles could be better applied.

Assessment Criteria 
Description and discussion of relevant academic journal articles minimum of 3 journal articles and a maximum of 5 journal articles related to CSR/ESG (nb. they must date less than 10 years old).
Discussion of the Organisation and the sector that they operate in Tourism, Aviation, Hotels, Attractions, Hospitality etc.
A discussion (not a bullet point listing) of the CSR programs operated by that organisation, it may not contain every initiative undertaken but will include the main or most important or noteworthy ones.
