PART-A ASSIGNMENT DETAILS You have been approached by your CEO to prepare a report on GLAXOSMITHKLINE PLC (GSK - LSE) Your task is to provide advice to your CEO & the rest of the Board of Directors as to whether this company would make a lucrative investment opportunity. You have provided with the most recent published annual report, which contains all the necessary financial statements Copies of the company’s Annual reports can be accessed from the module Moodle page. REQUIREMENTS You are required to address each of the following tasks within your report:

1. A Computation of the different financial ratios and Financial Analysis MUST cover the following core areas:

• Profitability;

• Liquidity position;

• Efficiency;

• Gearing;
