Study Proposal

Assessment Schedule 2
Team Panel of discussing the e-assessment you will need to form into a team of two (2) or three For this component of the (3). During the panel of discussion, you will need to Participate in your groups and will demonstrate your knowledge and understanding of 6 01- the process of spare parts required to d operations inventory and supply chain process in a discussion session.
Task:
Identify and select a minimum of 5 fast-moving products and 5 slow-moving products and identify some key areas in relation to parts identifications, parts numbers, parts application or purpose and it possible the retail cost of the components. This activity will form the base of the panel of discussion. You will also require to engage with the spare part shop to identify the process they use for sales of automotive parts.
Assessment Schedule 3:
Group Presentation: All students (in groups) to questions. The presentation present to their peer's key points of their learning and answer are; individual tasks covering information from the beginning of your learnt information to final submission and the capabilities developed. It should include what is Total Quality Management influence economic sustainability, what quality standards, reliability and improvements opportunities and optimization of spare parts include different types of stocks stored in a warehouse and describe the advantages/disadvantages of monthly stock take and stock reconciliation. Feedback from your peers may be used to improve your report.
Assessment schedule 4: Individual Written Report:
This component requires you to demonstrate your knowledge and application on spare parts planning, management, inventory controls, tracking and risk assessment management and quality control on an existing fleet organisation that has encountered financial losses in the spare parts department. As a fleet Manager, your task is to develop and implement an immediate strategic plan to counter the financial loses in the spare parts department. In the final part, you may recommend changes to the current spare parts business practices in order for the management not to outsource the spare parts department. A separate sheet outlining the background information of the fleet spare parts departed is attached in the Appendix section.
