For this assignment you are being tasked to communicate principles/ideas utilizing a restricted number of elements and possibilities. Most of graphic design involves
communicating visually without words and this can be challenging. By isolating these principles and focusing on their meaning, it allows us to learn about each principle
more intimately and see what principles are related and/or similar. Much of this assignment could be considered subjective so please do not get too caught up in the
details. Do your best and think about ways that you can communicate these words with the rules given. The words we will be exploring are:

Asymmetry Tension
Emphasis Space
Positive/Negative Space Order
Unity Chaos
Scale Repetition

Start by researching these words. What do they mean? Do they have more than one meaning? Look at their definitions and find their synonyms. Having an understanding
of the words meaning will help you as you work to explain them visually. For each word you will explore articulating its meaning through the use of points, lines and planes.
Once you have an understanding of these principles, you can start sketching the compositions, but first there are some rules you MUST follow:
1. Compositions must be SQUARE.
2. No more than 7 elements in each composition.
3. You cannot mix elements in a composition (ie no planes with lines, no point-only compositions with planes).
4. You can only use true planes/shapes (perfect squares and circles as well as equilateral triangles). No rectangles, ovals or funky triangles.
5. The sketches and compositions must be in black and white (no color).
6. Avoid using the pathfinder tool.
7. No stroke, only solid shapes.
