Task

The Research Study Report is the culmination of all your investigations. Completing it will demand time and effort. You will benefit greatly from attending the lectures and meetings. Your report is expected to include the following chapters/sections:

1. Introductory elements - cover sheet, title page, abstract (150-300 words),acknowledgements, table of contents, lists of tables/figures (words not counted towards word count)

2. Introduction (13-15% of word count)- background of the research, research problem, research aim, objectives and questions, justification of the research importance, research approach, report chapter outline, and summary.

3. Literature Review (25-30% of word count)- an appropriate review of relevant academic literature

4. Research Design (10-12% of word count)- research methodology, data collection method, data analysis technique 

5. Findings/Results of your study (25-30% of word count)- results/findings' presentation

6. Discussion (10-13% of word count)- results/findings analysed and discussed, contributions reiterated in-depth

7. Conclusions (7-10% of word count)- conclude on findings and answer research questions, provide research limitations, practical implications/any recommendations and possible future research.

8. References - Harvard style/APA style (as long as you consistently use one of these styles throughout the paper, Harvard or APA both are acceptable referencing styles in the report).
