• audio-visual recordings including interviews, audio notes and travel diaries recorded on dictophone tape and minidisc 

• records relating to university appointments including teaching literature at the universities of Glasgow, Harvard and St Anne’s College, Oxford. 

• books including major works and books with contributions by and about the author.
