Becoming an ‘O’ Project
Being an Only: A Field Assignment (Harvey & Allard, 2015, p. 59). This immersive activity will allow you to apply diversity theories
to your own experience and deepen your understanding of intersectionality. Present on this project in Week 6.

a one- to two-page proposal (i.e. a PLAN for what you'll do in the future -- NOT a reflective paper) that provides the following
information:
a. Your proposed immersive experience. See H&A p. 59 for ideas.( Note: Impersonating a homeless person is NOT
permitted.)
b. Any special permission, access arrangements, or accommodations needed for you to enter into the situation.
c. Your plan, including methods and timeline, for obtaining access to this situation.
