Consider the following facts and answer any ONE of the questions which follow under the heading “Required”. Your answer should be in the form of a group video presentation accompanied by up to 10 power point slides. Each member of your group will be required to participate in the preparation and presentation of the video presentation and slides and a certification to this effect must accompany your submission. All parts of each group submission are to be submitted on MyLO.

Axel Muntz is the managing director of an importing and wholesale marketing company called Great Endeavours Ltd (GEL) which operates in Tasmania. When he was appointed to the position, he gave details of his prior working experience and academic qualifications. He had completed a Masters of Administration degree at a university in Western Australia and had a history of middle management experience.

Upon his appointment Axel was instructed by the board of directors of GEL to implement a strict credit policy as the company had a large number of customers and it was concerned that in the developing downturn in the economy the company’s bad debts were growing. Axel was responsible for the company’s financial control and the operations manager reported to him.
