Choose one company from the following 7 BC companies:

Semios – Vancouver, BC

Deliverables:
Remember that the way you should be creating and structuring the deliverables below should be in line with the content of the class we already went through.  
Do some basic research online and determine what you think their top 3 major objectives are.  You should already know how to find this out: Mission Statement, Vision Statement, Annual Report, articles online, speeches or statements from the CEO or other executives.  Extra points will be given based on the amount of digging/research that you actually perform in this regard. 
Think of a project-based around what you think is the most important Corporate Objective to tackle in the near-term.  REMEMBER: this doesn’t mean the most important one.  It’s the one that should be tackled first.  Explain WHY you think it should be tackled first. 
Create a business case for upper management persuading them to address this project over another, sooner rather than later.  Remember: this should include all the important elements of a business case.  (Hint: one of the elements could include a Cost-Benefit analysis.)

Create the Work Breakdown Structure (*Remember to include the components of the WBS we discussed in class.  Budget or cost estimates are not necessary for this assignment – but time estimates are).  Justify your time estimates using the methods taught in class.  
Create a Project Network (Activity on Node is preferred).  Indicate any dependency relationships and what activities can be accomplished concurrently.  ES and EF dates will not be necessary for this exercise.
Identify the top 2 risks that this project is exposed to.  What steps would you take to mitigate/avoid/transfer/retain those risks? 
Pick one of the identified risks and create a contingency plan should that risk materialize.
