Based on Gibbs Reflective Cycle, you are required to write a 1000 word+/- 10% reflective piece about one of the presentation topics that interested you.
This is not a reflection on the presentation skills of your colleagues but of the topic content.
As this is a reflective piece you can write in the first person.
Specific details to be addressed:
This reflection needs to be succinct yet detailed to meet the assessment criteria.
Introduction: Identify the presentation topic you chose to review and why you chose it (50 words)
Description: The main points to include here are the details of the presentation content - what was said. Do not write a list (150 words)
Feelings: Here you can explore the feelings, thoughts, and the impact the topic had on you both before, during and after the presentation. (150 words)
Evaluation: Of the quality of the presentation (how the content was presented) - Be objective of what worked and what didn’t work. (100 words)
Analysis: Review which aspects of the topic content were clear or unclear to you and why? This is where you have a chance to make sense of what you saw and heard about the topic content. (150 words)
Conclusion: Focus on what you learned and what you think could have been added to the topic content or explained differently and why. Provide evidence from literature that could enhance the topic content (250 words)
Action plan: Make recommendations about what you will do next with the knowledge you have gained about the topic and what you now see, understand or will do differently? Support with literature. (150 words)
