The employees also received a memorandum in which, amongst other things, the start of an extensive cultural awareness campaign in the company was announced. However, the damage was done and Gucci’s brand reputation was severely compromised. 

You are also a creative director and run a small advertising agency called Untold Creativity. The Gucci debacle made you realise that cultural ignorance might be prevalent in your company and that Untold Creativity is in danger of making similar mistakes. You realise that you need to address this issue in the context of effective business communication with your employees urgently and decide to do it face-to-face in small group meetings.

1.1 You need all your employees to accept and understand the importance of effective business communication skills. Describe how you would explain the importance of effective business communication skills to them.
