7. Create histograms of the total number of plants, and the number of Carpinus caroliniana plants found in the plots. Do these look normally distributed?
8. Create a one-way univariate ANOVA model with the total number of plants as the response variable as a function of geomorphology as the predictor variable. Create a summary table for the ANOVA, and generate an effects plot to show the estimated mean total number of plants in each group with their 95% confidence intervals. Is there a significant difference in the total number of plants as a function of geomorphology? Which groups of geomorphology are significantly different from each other? Provide Tukey’s Honestly Significant Differences as evidence for the last question. Finally, report the AIC value of this model.
9. Generate diagnostic plots of the above ANOVA model. Are you concerned about any of the assumptions of ANOVA being violated for this model based on the diagnostic plots?

Which groups of geomorphology are significantly different from each other, based on the summary table and the effects plot?
