Discussion
This section consists of a clear evaluation and interpretation of the results with respect to the original objectives of the study and in the context of what has been learned by other investigators. Therefore, you must compare your findings to those reported in the scientific literature (properly cited both within the text of your Discussion and in the References section at the end). If your results were different than what may have been expected, you should suggest reasons for this.
The Discussion section does not consist of a repetition of the Results section, and it does not contain further analysis of the data stated in the Results – all analyses should be outlined in the results and discussed in the Discussion section.
End this section with a concluding paragraph to summarize your report and the key take-away points that the reader should remember. It is appropriate to comment on the methodology used and how it could be improved. Also, you should suggest other types of experiments that could be performed to expand knowledge on the work done in this investigation.
Here are some starting points when beginning to write your discu ssion. Explain the trends and results - if they are not what you would have assumed would happen , why were they different? What contributed to this? Some things to address:
