Assignment Task

You are required to produce an original piece of research in an appropriate business or organizational topic consistent with your course of study. 

You must choose one of the following types of research for your work:

1) A structured literature review

2) An analysis of secondary data

a) A study based on primary data collection

Each of these approaches to research have different requirements. The approach taken will depend on the type of research you wish to do, and on the subject you wish to explore. The assessment task outlined above has been designed to address specific validated learning outcomes for this module. It is useful to keep in mind that these are the things you need to show in this piece of work.

On completion of this module, students will need to demonstrate:

1. Critically appraise scholarship in the field of their degree award.

2. Demonstrate a sound knowledge of research methods.

3. Evaluate principles of ethics, sustainability and responsibility in the context of their own work and justify the approach adopted.

4. Act autonomously to conceptualize and conduct an independent piece of research.

5. Present research findings.
