The purpose of this assignment is to report on some important issues in engineering practice including ethical, social and contemporary issues. Write a report on selected ethical, social and contemporary issues. At the completion of this assignment students are expected to be capable of:
- Identifying potential ethical, social, and contemporary issues resultant from ethics and communication.
- Preparing written communication suitable for formal corporate environment
- Interpret professional codes of practice as developed by industry bodies;
- Explain ICT solutions so that ethical standards are achieved and maintained and society benefits;
- Student need to build the website which would be able to import any image file or pdf file for roofing and able to scale the each map.
- Student may find the image by their own and able to compute.
- The website may function as a software with all icon, menu bar, tool bar.
- Student may give any name to the software and need to show appropriate skills used on it.
- Payment button, company description is to be created own.
- Import an underlay image (PDF, BMP, JPG etc.)
- Scale image to the appropriate scale.
- Draw lines, planes and point-based items over the top of the scaled underlay.
- Input Job Information for the estimate being produced. Customer name, address etc.
- Output resulting quantities (including lengths and areas) to either a CSV file, HTML report or Word report.
