If trials measured walking speed or walking distance in more than one way, then the review authors independently identified the most appropriate measure and resolved any differing opinions through discussion. In trials that measured walking speed or walking distance at more than one end point (for example, trials that measured at 6 weeks and 6 months), then measurements taken at the end of the intervention were used.
