 Ava is a G1P1, with a negative blood group and BMI of 38 who has attended all scheduled antenatal visits in a shared care model with a midwife and obstetrician. Ava had a caesarean section following prolonged labour at term. It is noted from her history that she had an epidural and oxytocin infusion commenced when she was 5cm dilated.
