• the report is to provide an overview of the national business environment in which the Australian domestic airline sector operates using the PEST framework;
• in defining the sector acknowledgment should be made of the main activities undertaken;
• the analysis is to be objective and supported by appropriate data and sources.

What is a PEST analysis?

A PEST analysis is a business tool that provides a framework to identify and assess the macro factors which have shaped the business environment and will impact it in the future. The first half of the unit has focused on each of these four elements:
